Compact Industrial Computing for Limited Spaces

The SBOX-2603-R2312 brings AMD Ryzen™ Embedded R2312 processing and Radeon™ Graphics to a compact, fanless platform. Measuring 176 × 140 × 52 mm, it fits into equipment cabinets and installations with limited space.

Two RS-232/422/485 ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, and four digital inputs and four digital outputs connect industrial equipment and peripherals. Two HDMI® 2.0b outputs and one DVI-D interface enable multi-display configurations, with each HDMI output delivering up to 4K at 60 Hz.

An M.2 slot for NVMe or SATA SSDs and a separate 2.5-inch SATA SSD bay provide storage flexibility. Additional M.2 slots accommodate WWAN and Wi-Fi/Bluetooth modules for wireless connectivity.

Technical FAQ

1. Can the SBOX-2603 connect directly to a 24 VDC power supply?

No. The SBOX-2603 requires a regulated 12 VDC input through its DC jack. For a 24 VDC installation, use a suitable DC converter or select the SBOX-2623, which accepts 9–36 VDC.

2. Which M.2 slot should I use for storage or wireless modules?

The M.2 2280 Key M slot accommodates NVMe or SATA SSDs. The M.2 3042/3052 Key B slot accommodates USB-interface WWAN modules with dual SIM. The M.2 2230 Key E slot accommodates PCIe/USB 2.0 Wi-Fi and Bluetooth modules. Check the module’s key, dimensions, and electrical interface before installation.

3. Can I install an M.2 SSD and a 2.5-inch SATA SSD together?

Yes. The system provides separate installation locations for both drives, allowing the operating system and application data to reside on different SSDs.

4. What installation conditions are required for operation at 60°C?

The specified −30°C to 60°C operating range applies to the barebone system with SSD storage and ambient airflow of 0.6 m/s. Maintain airflow around the enclosure and keep its cooling surfaces unobstructed, particularly inside cabinets.

5. Does the standard configuration include Hailo-8?

Hailo-8 is an optional integration. Confirm the accelerator configuration, M.2 slot allocation, and storage requirements together before ordering.
